This meetup is "going to the dogs"...Pugs to be precise!!! Okay, so you're owned by a Pug; that goes without saying! I am too, as are many others. Why do we love these big-eyed, wrinkle-faced Pugsters so much? There are so many reasons, & that's reason enough to join the NNJPE! Our steadily-growing group of friendly Pugaholics & their Pugs meet for outings once a month (with "special events" tossed in for good measure), in order to provide our furbabies (& ourselves) some time for socialization …

We are a group of Astorians who own/love dogs and we are on a mission to restore Bugsy's Dog Run at Astoria Park. Most of the legalities are done, we are just waiting for final approval, and then we will raise funds and get to work! In addition we will be organizing dog related events, from playdates at the park, to road trips to dog-friendly beaches in the summer and whatever other suggestions our members come up with. Please join us, and become part of a great Astoria community!
"Don't do mornings", come join us! Meet new friends, to share afternoon, 1-4 hour, easy to moderate, with some, more challenging, local nature walks and hikes, plus other, arts and entertainment activities. Don't forget to check, the day of an event, for any changes. Please give yourself plenty of time, to find us, since we only wait an extra 10 minutes, before starting an event, to be fair to everyone. We will occasionally post a "Dog Friendly" event, which is the only time, when friendly, w …
I decided to start this group because In a place with so many people, it makes absolutely no sense for anyone to have nothing to do! Anyway, what's the most common thing people do? EAT, everybody likes to eat! Its stress free and pain free. Its great way for anyone and everyone to enjoy life! Just sit, eat, and enjoy the company of others. Partying is ok and there are other groups for that, but if you're like me, sometimes you want to stop and just enjoy a hot dog on Coney Island, or some pizza …

We avoid force-based training methods and encourage holistic, thoughtful pet ownership. Check back here for puppy playgroups, adult dog playgroups, lectures, workshops and seminars. Our aim is to solely provide Help (in whatever form) to a variety of needs, such as Organizations that assist children. So any kind of fundraising or visiting or "adopting" a childrens ward and working with them in what they think is good for the children to raise spirits is one angle. I also love dogs and there are many shelters because of the many problems of overbreeding, crossbreeding, abuse and abandonement and so on. Connecting with the ASPCA would be best to determine ways to help in the …

Welcome to The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Meetup Group of New York. The group was started in 2006, thanks to my Cavalier, Digby.
